For decades, America anchored to a single path: College immediately after high school. But that one-size-fits-all model is failing young people, employers, and communities. Young people need more than one path to success.
Employers and Policymakers Are Responding
Federal funding for apprenticeships has grown tenfold since 2015, while active apprenticeships have increased 60% since 2011. Jobs without degree requirements have quadrupled, and public confidence in higher education has dropped from 57% to 36% in the past decade.
