An entrepreneur and small business owner, Eric LeVine has had a distinguished career as a Group Program Manager and Product Unit Manager at Microsoft, as founder/CEO of CellarTracker, and, more recently, as a work-at-home dad. He grew up in Boston and then, after graduating from Harvard University with an A.B. in History, pursued a technology career that took him from Lotus to Microsoft, where he ultimately led a team pioneering the use of crowd-sourced big data for software reliability. He applied the knowledge and experience he gained from this data project to his passion for wine and then turned his hobby into his work by creating CellarTracker.com, the world’s leading cellar management software and the pioneer in crowd-sourced wine reviews.

In addition to his professional and family pursuits, Eric has focused his heart and time on social justice and social services. He served as Board President at Jewish Family Service of Greater Seattle from 2013-14 and served on the board from 2003-14 and 2017-present. In September 2016, he was appointed by President Obama to serve as a member of the United States Holocaust Memorial Council until 2019.

He and his wife Suzi, formerly the United States Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, have both become passionate advocates of the Swiss model of youth apprenticeship. To that end, he is a board member of the American Swiss Foundation, a board member for CareerWise Colorado, an advisory board member of CEMETS (the Center on the Economics and Management of Education and Training Systems) at ETH in Zürich, a co-chair of the Seattle Region Partnership, and a member of Governor Inslee’s Career Connect Washington task force.

He enjoys spending his time with his family – including his dog – especially when they can be outdoors hiking, biking, or playing in the snow.

After living in Bern, Switzerland from 2014-17, he has recently returned to Seattle where he has lived for most of the past 26 years.
