Xan Pearson

Xan Pearson is the Executive Director of CareerWise Colorado, bringing over 25 years of leadership experience across the nonprofit and private sectors. A strategic visionary, she has a proven track record in business development, organizational growth, and forging high-impact partnerships in Denver, Chicago, and New York. Throughout her career, she has driven innovation and operational excellence, shaping programs and initiatives that create lasting impact.

Most recently, Xan served as CEO & President of the Colorado Thought Leaders Forum (CTLF), where she championed HEART-Level Leadership—an approach that fosters workplace cultures rooted in purpose, authenticity, and community impact. Under her leadership, CTLF experienced record membership growth and expanded strategic partnerships, ultimately merging with CiviCO to amplify its statewide reach.

Prior to CTLF, Xan was President of the Chicago Bulls & White Sox Youth Academy, leading the largest youth development program owned by a professional sports team. Her leadership enabled the Academy to serve over 250,000 young athletes annually, introducing new programs that expanded equitable access to youth sports. Through her efforts, the Academy not only increased participation but also instilled core leadership values—resilience, teamwork, accountability, and confidence—into every program.

A certified facilitator, Xan holds a degree in psychology from DePauw University and attended the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. Recognized as one of Chicago’s Women of the Year in 2015 by Women in Sports and Events, she remains dedicated to mentorship and leadership development. She serves on the Board of Directors for CiviCO and the National Amateur Fall Baseball Federation, supporting leadership education for young athletes, and is an Advisory Board member for DePauw University’s Creative School.
