Jill Armington is the Director of National Partnerships at CareerWise, where she collaborates with visionary leaders to expand youth apprenticeship opportunities across the U.S. Originally from Philadelphia, Jill began her career as a Teach For America corps member in Indianapolis, spending five years as a K-12 educator and policy fellow. She later joined Ascend Indiana, where she worked with diverse partners, including CareerWise, to launch Indianapolis’ youth apprenticeship initiative and provide technical assistance across the state. Jill holds bachelor’s degrees in sociology and international studies from Penn State University and a master’s in teaching from Marian University. Now based in Santa Monica, CA, she enjoys life with her two cats, Frank and Charlie.
