CareerWise Impact

Driving Change, Getting Results

CareerWise doesn’t just run apprenticeship programs. We build the infrastructure for a national movement. Through strategic coalitions, policy advocacy, and data-driven insights, we’re creating the conditions for youth apprenticeship to scale across the country.

Building the Movement Through Collaboration and Collective Action

CareerWise recognizes that lasting change requires partnership. We work alongside national organizations, state agencies, workforce boards, nonprofits and community leaders to architect the infrastructure needed for youth apprenticeship to scale.

EAA
EAA is a pioneering partnership of states and industries that addresses the critical need for strong, unified policy on American career education and apprenticeship. This coalition brings together state and national partners, policymakers, education leaders, employers, and labor and community organizations to build a strong system that expands career and technical education, ensuring more high school students are able to access transformative apprenticeships in critical industries.

Future Ready Apprenticeship CenterLed by CareerWise in partnership with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE), the Center is funded by the U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL). The Center is a multi-year, funded opportunity for a national consortium of selected states who have a goal of building state-level capacity to expand access to high-quality Registered Apprenticeships for young people aged 16-24.

U.S. Advanced CEMETS Institute

This research-driven collaborative brings together leaders working to create state-level career education and training systems that align to a shared vision. Participants are grounded in the history, evidence and infrastructure of the U.S. contexts within education training and employment. Participants are then informed and inspired by analysis of international dual-education system examples, including the Swiss system, as they learn, plan and mobilize. The collaborative is motivated by the increasingly critical role states play in creating the conditions within which learners, workers and employers alike can grow and thrive.

Coalition in Action

We work within and organize diverse coalitions to support states in overcoming policy barriers. By engaging industry stakeholders and identifying sector-specific workforce needs, CareerWise creates and deploys frameworks and tools that enable progress in multi-partner ecosystems. From state capitals to industry boardrooms to high school classrooms, we’re building a movement together. See our coalition partners below.
