Moses Ojeda is a lifelong champion of Career and Technical Education (CTE) and a distinguished Master Principal tasked with assisting principals in implementing future-ready pathways. These pathways aim to prepare students for business, education, healthcare, or technology careers. Through his leadership, participating students are engaged in a career-connected pathway designed to offer practical and theoretical knowledge in these key sectors.

A proud graduate of Thomas A. Edison CTE High School himself, Mr. Ojeda’s 30-year journey has significantly transformed the institution. As Principal, he has been instrumental in establishing the school as New York City’s premier CTE institution, now offering 13 distinct programs and boasting the highest industry certification rates in the city. Holding a master’s degree in educational leadership & technology, along with numerous industry certifications, Mr. Ojeda demonstrates a relentless commitment to educational excellence and innovation.

Starting his career as an IT educator at Edison, he quickly rose to become the department head, where he launched several pioneering CTE programs in fields such as Cybersecurity, Biotechnology, and Robotics Engineering. Since taking the helm as Principal in 2012, he has not only continued to push the boundaries of CTE but also passionately shares his wealth of knowledge and expertise, guiding other schools in developing their own transformative CTE initiatives. 

Leading the charge in research and development, Mr. Ojeda has spearheaded a dedicated team focused on integrating the latest educational technologies and methodologies. This initiative has proven invaluable in enhancing curriculum design, teacher training, and student outcomes, solidifying Edison’s role as a beacon of innovation in CTE education.
